What is Reiki?
Reiki (Usui Method)
This Japanese energy healing technique may be used by anyone interested in healing. Usui Reiki is a very widely used type of Reiki in all countries and is over 5000 years old. This sacred knowledge was nearly lost in the dark ages. It can be used for healing on all levels of body, mind, spirit, and emotion. Many Health care practitioners use this type of healing in a private setting and it can be learned by virtually anyone with a true interest and desire to heal .It greatly enhances other forms of healing. There are a total of 7 symbols taught in the entire program which ranges from level one to master program. After you have completed the Master training, you will be able to teach Reiki on all levels if you desire to do so.
Each class comes with what is called an "Attunement" which is a very sacred ceremonial procedure that is highly spiritual. During the attunement, the client is able to energetically receive the Reiki Spiritual energies used for healing. These energies are activated with the sacred Reiki symbols. The sacred Reiki symbols, which Dr. Usui rediscovered in the early 1900's are still the ones taught and used for attuning the students. With each advanced attunement, the client receives stronger healing energies and spiritually grows exponentially. Many people receiving a Reiki treatment will say the hands of the practitioner are noted to be very warm or even hot! This is a common finding with Reiki Practitioners.
Some important points about Reiki are:
1) Reiki can never harm
2) The most important thing about Reiki is THE INTENT
3) Reiki holds no religious creed; it is universal and allowed to be used by anyone
4) The most powerful deciding factor of the degree of healing that takes place is that of the recipients higher self ( willingness to receive)
5) Get permission prior to treatment ( if unable to another method is by asking the clients higher self in prayer)
6) Anyone can learn and use Reiki. Reiki cannot be taught by a book, it must be passed along during an attunement by a Reiki Master
7) Your Reiki Master (the person that taught you Reiki) should always be willing to answer questions and act as a mentor up until the time you become a Reiki Master. Time should not be a variable here.

Usui Reiki Level One

In level one, you will learn basic consepts of holism, spiritual healing and how to work with energy on a quantum level. You will learn the basic hand positions used for Reiki healing and have an opportunity to practise Reiki on others. You will learn about the history of Reiki and how it can be used for healing and for changing your life to help you become very possitive and healthy of mind, body and spirit. Highlights for this class are:
* Movie "Life after Life "based on the famous, Dr Raymond Moodys best selling book.True stories and live interviews with people that survived near death expereinces and with first hand reports with what they witnessed on the other side. This movie gives us an understanding of the significance of love in our lives,the mystery of life and how the spirit realm is very much interwoven into our daily lives.
* Reiki Chakra Meditation - You will learn to focus and center your attention during this incredible meditation which will enable full preparation for the healing work. At the ending of this meditation, you will learn powerful grounding techniques which are needed to bring one back into the physical realms after a deep Reiki spiritual experience.
*Energy System - You will learn about the human energy system and what it is comprised of, mainly the chakras and the energy fields ( aura) You will also learn the names and primary functions of all the major auric fields and chakras.
*How is Reiki used - You will learn the first sacred Reiki symbol, function, how to manifest it for activation and will be tested on this. This is very simple and you will have lots of practise time and support.
*Sacred Reiki Attunement - You will recieve the incredible highly activating spiritual attunemnt with the activation of the first Reiki power symbol for you to become a first level Reiki Practitioner
We will all practice Reiki on each other and have time for sharing and connecting with others of like mind.
You will recieve your level one Reiki cetificate form the Professional Holistic Training Center, suitable for framing.

Usui Reiki Level Two
Taught by Debbie Glasgow RN, CHTP,CRMI
In Usui Reiki level II you will learn deeper concepts of healing and remote long distant healing (long distance healing) as well as the next two healing symbols that will greatly heighten your ability to heal, relax and alter the pain response. We will explore concepts about the afterlife and Angel helpers that assist us with spiritual and physical healing . Class includes hands on practice using your newly attuned symbols. Highlights for this class are :
Movie – The Chakra system
· Prayer circle, opening meditation, Students and teachers are saged .
· The level two classes are similar to level one yet the major difference is that your healing abilities are heightened greatly. You will know and be attuned to a total of 3 Reiki symbols by the end of the class .You will also be taking a symbols test involving drawing and saying two new symbols. This is a group effort and is simple and guided. The Attunement is very ceremonial and will be American Indian style. Bring any special artifacts or special healing stones with you for the attunement also. Please eat very light for at least 3 days prior to this class and drink lots of water.
· The major techniques we cover in level two are:
· Remote Healing – allows healing at a very deep level of mind, body and spirit and emotion
· Energy Chakra Connection -a technique that balances, relaxes and heals the chakra system .
· Indian Hopi Technique- ancient technique which releases chronic or acute pain which may be deep within into a muscle or joint.
· Reiki Gemstone Healing Technique – A very powerful energizing technique which opens each major chakra with the use of 7 different therapeutic stones. This technique both energizes and relaxes.
· Reiki Touch Level Two Certificates, suitable for framing are handed out after completion of class.

Learn to use the Crystal Reiki Grid for continuous healing of people or situations. One Master Crystal is used for this work along with 6 other smaller clear quartz crystals. Learn and practice Reiki Psychic Surgery to fully and completely clean your entire aura /high powered energy fields. As a group we will collectively raise the group vibration and your own personal vibration by use of the Reiki Crystal Meditation which helps to strengthen the mind and emotions and expand human consciousness. We will review all previous symbols taught in levels one and two and you will need to bring a copy of your certificate for level two with you to class. There will plenty of time for practicing hands on Reiki healing while ensuring everyone experiences a magical Reiki treatment.
